I didn’t really want a job at EY. At least twice during the interview process, I told them I was the wrong woman for the job (not an interview technique I’d recommend, by the way), that I’d be a square peg in a round hole. My background was Coca-Cola and Samsung, and I really didn’t see professional services as the obvious next step. But they lured me in with the opportunity to transform EY UK’s marketing; to bring it into the 21st century and to establish EY in areas far removed from its bean-counting heritage. And I’ve relished the challenge.
